Modding communities are one of the primary reasons PC gaming thrives. Whenever a game starts to wind down, you know there’s going to be a community creator who revitalises it with some new stuff.

This is exactly what has been happening with Batman: Arkham Knight. Already a brilliant game, extended and expanded through a variety of brilliant mods.

One of my favourites has to be RRe36’s Animated Series (BTAS) Batman that recreates the legendary suit and style from the classic Animated Series.

With a mix of realism and the iconic cartoon style, it’s a great way to play as Batman in this adventure.

If you want to go a bit wackier with your Batman, you could choose Medi’s Green Lantern Batman, which is a very cool crossover with another of DC Comics’ biggest starts.

Sadly, there are no Green Lantern powers, but it doesn’t stop this Batman looking awesome when taking out the trash in Gotham.

Moving away from reskins of Bats, we’ve got a lovely pack of shaders from Sayari called Gritty Filmic Reshade.

This mod changes the visual style of the game making it look more grimy and gives the feel of the 2022 film, The Batman and the accompanying TV show, The Penguin.

This one is pretty performance heavy and requires a decent GPU, so you’ve been warned.

If you really want to change things up, there’s the Enigma Datapacks mod, which removes the Riddler trophies and replacing them with the Enigma Packs from Batman: Arkham Origins.

It’s a small change, but one for fans of the franchise.

Changing up another little detail is the Comic Style Batarang, which does pretty much what the name says and replace your Batarang.

There are so many great mods to choose from if you want to shake up your next playthrough of the game.
