When The Last Of Us Meets Starfield: A Sci-Fi Adventure Like No Other!
🚀🌌 Imagine the emotional depth and survival instincts of The Last of Us colliding with the vast, space-faring wonders of Starfield. What do you get? A brand new, epic sci-fi adventure that’s set to redefine the genre.
If you love emotional, story-driven adventures with the thrill of sci-fi exploration, this game is everything you’ve been waiting for. A story so powerful, it will stay with you long after the credits roll. 🌟
As soon as this game was shown during Sony’s State of Play event last night, it was clear it was a Capcom game, simply from the 3D model of Diana that’s shown in the trailer.
Pragmata, a game that sees spaceman Hugh discover an android child on a space station in disarray, looks like the ultimate in companion quests as the two pair up.
After the two meet, Pragmata takes on the tone of father figure and daughter exploring the world together, not unlike The Last of Us.
And on that point, some of the rogue AI in the trailer shows some decrepit robots that have a very undead quality to them.
Any new franchise from Capcom is enough to get gamers excited, but a sci-fi adventure, with plenty of technology which wouldn’t be out of place in a game like Starfield, is enough to get us excited.
Interestingly, you’ll control both Diana and Hugh at the same time, as she clambers onto his back during exploration and combat, staying safe, and using her techno abilities to hack systems and control enemies.
Hugh relies on the standard weaponry we often find in these games, and will happily plug away at any enemy with a gun while shielding his new friend.
More details are thin on the ground currently, and all Capcom say is that we can expect “sci-fi inspired visuals and the cold, dark stretch of the moon where the game takes place.”
The developer has been on a roll of late and cemented itself as a frontrunner in action and adventure games, now with this new IP, we could see another banger coming to PlayStation 5.
Hopefully, we’ll see more of Pragmata in the coming months, and get to glimpse more of the sleek and swish environments alongside what is likely to be a charming story.
