However, a change in her appearance and voice is completely understandable given the amount of time that has passed since the last game. She has now grown into a beautiful woman who looks quite different from the Ciri fans remember.

The internet seems to be divided on what and how the fans feel about Ciri after the release of The Witcher 4’s announcement trailer. Some people feel that she looks quite different from the Ciri they remember, and they have still not been able to wrap their heads around this change, while others are extremely happy with how things turned out for her.

Another major point of debate is CDPR’s decision to change her voice actor. Ciri was played in the previous game by Jo Wyatt, who has now been replaced by Ciara Berkeley. It has also officially been confirmed that Ciri will be the protagonist of the next game, leaving Geralt behind. The Witcher 4 will explore Ciri’s side of the story.
