Marvel fans got their first taste of what the Invisible Woman’s powers will look like in the MCU.

Vanessa Kirby’s Invisible Woman powers from The Fantastic Four: First Steps were teased visually for the first time.
Viewers are eagerly awaiting the Fantastic Four’s Marvel Studios debut with about seven months until their first MCU solo movie is released. With principal photography complete, the stage is set for this team to shine brightly in the Summer of 2025.
Select fans have seen a taste of footage from The Fantastic Four: First Steps thanks to the D23 expos in both Southern California and Brazil over the last few months. As the wait continues for a first trailer, new teases from the film build up hype to levels never seen before.
Vanessa Kirby’s Invisible Woman Teased in New MCU Image
A new promotional image for Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps teased how the MCU’s Invisible Woman’s powers will look behind star Vanessa Kirby.
Shown on exclusive stickers from the Disney Celebra Christmas concert in Argentina (via Instagram user @elreportedehoy) was a full look at the four stars portraying the Fantastic Four.

On the right side is Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm, who is holding up her hand as a circular shield of energy emanates from her fingertips. She is also seen in what is presumed to be her full Fantastic Four costume, complete with a blue “4” on her chest.

The image accurately replicates what fans have seen from the Invisible Woman through her years in Marvel Comics. Along with the obvious invisibility powers, she is known for being able to conjure blasts of energy and forcefields from her hands, which she can manipulate into any number of shapes.

Fans saw the first look at Kirby and co-star Pedro Pascal in costume from images taken during a set visit in mid-October.
This marks the first look at any of the MCU’s Fantastic Four using their powers before their solo film is released in July 2025, including Johnny Storm flaming on and Ben Grimm’s Thing donning his super-powered uniform.
What to Expect From Vanessa Kirby’s Invisible Woman
Expected to be the leader of the MCU’s Fantastic Four, Sue Storm’s powers are expected to be a key aspect of the team’s solo outing. Along with invisibility and forcefields, in the comics, she can manipulate light, uncover invisible objects, and even make non-visible energy visible to the naked eye.
This image also indicates the likely start of The Fantastic Four‘s incoming marketing campaign, as Marvel is just over half a year away from releasing the movie.
The movie’s score has already been played at multiple events in 2024, but the time is quickly approaching for the general public to see official images and footage.
With the news of Superman’s first trailer coming on December 19 for DC Studios, many are wondering when the same moment will come The Fantastic Four. This is particularly the case due to the two movies currently being set to release only two weeks apart from one another in July 2025.
With only Mufasa left to debut for Disney in 2024, the next blockbuster to look to would be a film like Captain America: Brave New World to pair a potential trailer with.
Not only is Captain America 4 Disney’s first major event movie of 2025, but it is also Marvel Studios’ next huge outing set for release in theaters, coming on February 14.
Another notable February event is Super Bowl LIX (taking place on February 9), where Marvel is known to make its presence felt every year. Unless the movie’s first trailer comes before then, the expectation is that this Sunday mega-event will be the absolute latest Marvel will wait to deliver a first trailer for The Fantastic Four.
Before the film’s release, fans have gotten only a few behind-the-scenes looks at the story’s central quartet. Set photos teased the MCU’s design for The Thing, and Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards has been seen alongside Kirby’s Sue Storm in other photos and videos from what appears to be their take on the Baxter Building.
Also on fans’ minds is whether Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom will be part of this movie before he takes on the role of Multiverse Saga big bad in the next two Avengers films. Whatever the answers to those questions may be, anticipation is building to see what Marvel has in store for these four heroes.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will debut in theaters on July 25, 2025.
