God of War fans lose it over this gorgeous remake concept that we’d all love to see made official.

The God of War franchise developed by Santa Monica Studio is one of the most iconic properties in all of video games with its epically brutal adventures of demigod Kratos as he wages a tirade of vengeance over the Greek gods that wronged him and his family.

Today, Kratos is a father and a bit more chill, now that he has Atreus to look after in the gorgeous lands of Scandinavia, as established in God of War (2018). However, this is Kratos we’re talking about and it doesn’t take long for the Norse Gods to come knocking on his door, an act that they would quickly regret.

The Norse saga was continued in the sequel God of War Ragnarök and much like its predecessor, is considered to be one of the best games of its generation. Now, fans eagerly await news on the third entry of this epic trilogy tale.

However, as much as we’d love to see Kratos’ shenanigans in Scandinavia, no doubt some fans would love to see remakes for the series of games that started it all which began with the 2005 classic on PlayStation 2.

YouTuber and concept game creator TeaserPlay has remade God of War 2 (2007) powered by Unreal Engine 5 and it looks gorgeous.

“A God of War 2 remake would go hard,” declared thenewguyatwork.

“This is the only remake that I actually want! I hope we do get it someday, this game is a masterpiece,” replied Gamingawesomeness121.
