As you explore Clair Obscur’s elaborate world, you’ll come across optional areas called Gestral Beaches with mini-games like beach volleyball and a climbing wall. These are not necessarily difficult challenges, but they can be a little tricky. All the Gestral Games include a game of volleyball, a parkour course, an ascension tower, a foot race, and finally, a climbing wall. You will need access to most of Esquie’s abilities such as flight in order to get to all the beaches, though the first Gestral Beach is found early in Act 1.

There Are Five Different Gestral Beaches On Clair Obscur’s Continent

The first Gestral Beach is found early in Act 1, and you can get there just about as soon as you have access to the Continent. It’s on the northwest side of the starting area and will serve as your first introduction to Gestral Beaches and their associated mini-games. The second Gestral Beach is found once you enter Act 2, and you’ll need to swim to a secluded beach area to play some volleyball. Each Gestral Game rewards a different swimsuit for all the characters.

The third Gestral Beach is found on an island in a body of water to the east of Monoco’s Station, and this one involves a massive tower of random assorted objects from the game that you’ll have to ascend. The fourth Gestral Beach is found southeast of Sirene in another enclosed body of water, and it includes more climbing, but you’ll have to navigate the handholds to reach the top of this wall. The final Gestral Beach is also found southeast of Sirene, not far from the previous one. There’s a timed race with different rewards.
How To Complete All The Gestral Games In Clair Obscur
How To Complete The Parkour Course

Completing this course is really a matter of patience, and if you take it slow, you shouldn’t have too much of an issue. Once you reach the end, there’s a tiny Gestral that you can speak with to receive the first reward, which is Lune’s Swimsuit.
How To Win The Raft Volleyball Tournament

Raft Volleyball is the second Gestral Game you’ll need to win, and there are three different difficulties. This game requires you to propel the tiny Gestrals that the Sakapatate on the other side launches your way. There’s a trick to the timing here, and you want to wait just a split second longer than you think to hit the Gestrals and send them back to the other side.
f you’re prioritizing the flaming Gestrals, you will get two points each time, which is especially important for the hardest-difficulty volleyball game.
Winning the volleyball game can be pretty frustrating at first if you aren’t good at the timing. One trick is to stay in the middle of the raft platform and not try to run side to side, as the blast from your attack will reach far enough to hit the Gestrals without moving all that much. Since there are different rewards for both the normal and highest difficulty levels, you’ll have to play both to get the achievement and collect the swimsuit reward.
How To Ascend The Tower

Once you get to the ascension tower, you’ll need to climb to the very top to get the reward. It might look simple at first, but falling is easier than you think, and you’ll need to have a good sense of how to jump and grab onto ledges. If you fall, you can try to catch a ledge on your way down. Otherwise, you’ll drop all the way to the bottom and have to start over.
How To Reach The Top Of The Climbing Wall

The next Gestral Game is the Climbing Wall, which requires you to dodge flaming orbs while using handholds to climb to the top. This can be a little tricky, but you essentially have to go back and forth and just keep an eye on when the orbs come over the ledge.
It’s easiest to go slow and be patient, moving under the column with a break in the number of orbs coming down. If you go too fast, you will definitely get hit, so don’t try to jump up a bunch of handholds all at once. Completing this and reaching the top of the tower rewards Maelle’s Swimsuit.
How To Win The Race

The final Gestral Game is a foot race that also requires a bit of climbing. There are different ranks depending on how fast you complete the race, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold rewards. When you start climbing the platforms, you’ll need to time your jumps perfectly and angle the camera so you are prepared for the next jump right away. The time for each tier is as follows:
Bronze: 45 seconds
Silver: 41 seconds
Gold: 38 seconds
