The ongoing rift between the Sussexes and the Royal Family has not only affected the way they spend time together but their communications as well, per a new report published by GB News.

The King no longer speaks to his daughter-in-law Meghan Markle. It’s not like it’s too surprising since Meghan and Harry were excluded from this year’s Sandringham Castle invites yet again.

Here’s where Meghan stands with her royal in-laws now that she and Harry have dialed back on the royal mudslinging.

King Charles Doesn’t Know What To Say To Son Harry Ahead of the Latter’s Court Case

Early next year, Prince Harry will return to the UK for his ongoing battle with the Home Office over his security arrangements in the UK, and until the court case is complete, the King is said to be keen on keeping communications with his son at a minimum.

Writing on The Times, royal commentator Kate Mansey said, “Until the case is concluded, there is little Charles feels he can say to his son. As for Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, there is no communication with the King and Queen.”

However, she noted: “Interestingly, this year seems to have brought about a fragile ceasefire, at least as far as Montecito is concerned.”

Speaking of “fragile ceasefire,” this year has actually seen the Sussexes move on from the royal drama and refrain from sharing any more family secrets and what not.

Even though the paperback version of Harry’s ‘Spare’ hit the market late this year, he did not make any new additions to what he’d already written.

However, many are not convinced that the couple are actually done and dusted when it comes to sharing royal gossips.

For example, royal biographer Tom Bower actually believes that Meghan Markle is working on a memoir of her own, and that it would likely feature moments from her short time within the monarchy. She did after all hint that she kept notes.

Anyway, who knows? Maybe they’ve told all they can and have actually moved on.
