Being a pirate holds some strange fascination for many of us.

Although we know it would have been rough, we long to experience the highs and lows of such a life.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag undeniably offered us an enjoyable romp through the Caribbean.

Still, there were elements that proved lacklustre – it didn’t quite have the bite nor the mayhem players were hoping for.

Arguably, the only way to get such an experience would be to combine Black Flag elements with those of GTA.

Oh, what do you know, this new RPG promises to deliver this kind of wild ride and then some.

Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is making a splash before its launch on 20 February thanks to its “over-the-top” gameplay.

Everything about this SEGA title looks incredible, not to mention chaotic. What more could you ask for?

Ah, poor Skull and Bones. It had such potential, yet it was never able to unlock it due to various issues, such as being “janky” and “very loose”.

As if sensing gamers would need something to bring joy back into their lives, Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii’s devs revealed this game. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio knew we needed this.

This “hilarious” looking experience isn’t available just yet, but it won’t be long before it is; it’s scheduled to launch on 20 February.

We’d collect every scrap of gold we could if it meant we could start pirating right now rather than waiting until late Feb.

That being said, all good things come to those who wait.

Let’s not try to rush things lest we potentially ruin this fantastic, and much needed, pirating game.
