Due to the game being a free-to-play title, it tends to reward players with cosmetic items and skins if they reach a certain rank or via in-game events. NetEase will be releasing a mid-season update on February 21, 2025, that will include two new playable characters, i.e., The Thing and Human Torch. Getting the Blood Blaze skin for the Human Torch is identical to getting the Blood Shield & Blood Blaze Costumes for Invisible Woman. You will need to reach Gold Level to unlock this skin, meaning you might need to win many competitive matches to stay at that level in Marvel Rivals.

The best way to achieve this rank is to play in a group of four in competitive matches and make sure you play your role efficiently. I’ve found using Vanguard characters in Marvel Rivals easier as they make the grind much faster to reach Gold 3 Level.

It is worth pointing out that the Skin will become available once you have completed at least 10 competitive matches from the new 1.5 mid-season update.

The Blood Blaze skin for Human Torch is quite similar-looking to the Blood Shield & Blood Blaze skin for Invisible Woman, so it might be worth it to grind for this skin if you want the pair. Apart from the Blood Blaze skin, there’s another skin called the “Negative Zone Gladiator” up for grabs from the in-game store. In order to purchase the Negative Zone Gladiator skin, you will need 1,600 Units.

I would recommend grinding for the Blood Blaze skin for the Human Torch first, as achieving the required level requires a bit more time commitment and consistency. You just have to make sure you don’t lose too many matches before the end of the season so that you can unlock these free skins in Marvel Rivals.
