💔 Horizon 3 teaser just dropped — and fans are already HEARTBROKEN. You won’t believe what they did to Aloy…
The long-awaited teaser for Horizon 3 is finally here — but instead of hype, it’s leaving many fans gutted. Why?
Because what they revealed about Aloy’s future has left even the most loyal players shocked, divided, and emotional.
Horizon Zero Dawn fans are left feeling heartbroken following an update regarding Horizon 3.
Developed by the studio that brought us the FPS series, Killzone, Guerrilla Games released Horizon Zero Dawn in 2017 on PlayStation 4, taking many fans of the game once dubbed the “Halo killer” by surprise.
Alas, despite some being concerned that Guerrilla Games would struggle to develop an open-world action adventure, Horizon Zero Dawn soon became one of the flagship games for the PlayStation brand.
Horizon Zero Dawn would prove to be such a success that it would later spawn its sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, expansions, as well as PC ports, a remaster and a PS VR2 Spin-off, Horizon: Call of the Mountain.
Fans are hyped for the third mainline entry in the series, and considering that Horizon Forbidden West and its expansion Burning Shores planted the seeds for the next game, we all know it’s eventually going to be released.
But, how long could we be waiting for the arrival of Horizon 3?
In an article shared on Reddit from the website, Techtroduce, according to journalist Jason Schreier, he said on an episode of Spawncast, that Horizon 3 could be “ways off.”
We know there’s a Horizon multiplayer game in the works, which at the time of writing has no release date. There’s a good chance that the multiplayer spin-off launches before Horizon 3, assuming it gets released.
There’s a gap of five years between Horizon Zero Dawn (2017) and Horizon Forbidden West (2022). Which could be an indication of how long we might be waiting for Horizon 3. If correct, it might be safe to assume that Horizon 3 could be released in 2027.
However, it’s worth keeping in mind that Horizon 3 hasn’t been officially announced.
“How credible is this insider? Because if he is right, that’s really disappointing,” exclaimed Reddit user RelevantBeat9898.
“Given the staffing cutbacks ordered by Sony a while back, this is unsurprising,” replied alvarkresh.
“Guess that’ll mean it’s a PS6 title. So that’ll mean I’ll have to spend £999 at that point just to get the console, then £100 for the base game,” said a dejected Jrjreeves.
We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear an update on the progress of Horizon 3.
