Henry Cavill has left two significant franchises in a row now, as his run with The Witcher came to a surprise end after the DCEU folded. With his performance as Geralt and Superman, he won the hearts of gamers. Currently, Cavill is preparing for the Warhammer 40k project.

The adaptation is a dream project for Cavill, as he’s a big fan of the Warhammer franchise. We still don’t know where the project is headed or what we can expect. That hasn’t stopped the community from demanding to see female Custodes in the show despite the controversies over them.

However, Cavill and his team can perfectly satisfy all sides of the fandom by bringing this more lore-accurate female faction from the franchise, which everyone respects.

It’s fair to say that the introduction of the first female Adeptus Custodes in the Warhammer 40k franchise hasn’t gone down well.

Many fans are annoyed over the fact that the faction of gene-edited soldiers has always been portrayed as an all-male force in previous pieces of lore, and the addition of female Custodes retcons everything they’ve known so far.

However, the fans’ opinion of female Custodes can instantly turn around if Henry Cavill decides to bring Adepta Sororitas into his upcoming show. This faction is quite a distinct one within the Imperium of Man. They’re a complete female force of warriors who remain royal to God-Emperor and can’t take a single word against him.

The armor for Adepta Sororitas is often enhanced with religious garb such as flowing robes and nun’s habits. This particular style can even be seen in their powerful vehicles, where you can see a tank with candles, pipe glass, or stained glass.

A female warrior with a gun heading into the battlefield on top of a mobile church could prove to be the wild thing that Cavill’s Warhammer 40k show needs.

It’s the right faction for the show, as they’ve amassed a lot of popularity over the last couple of years after their miniatures got multiple releases. We even have a game based around them called Warhammer 40k: Battle Sisters in VR!

If you’ve forgotten, Cavill’s Warhammer 40k show was first announced back in December 2022. Since then, we haven’t heard anything about the project, but new reports suggest that the show might never hit the shelves.

According to IGN, in a financial report by GamesWorkshop, the deal for Amazon for the exclusive rights to the Warhammer 40k franchise was mentioned. Back in December 2023, Games Workshop decided to set a time frame of 12 months with Amazon to set creative guidelines for all movies and series to be developed.

It was agreed between GamesWorkshop and Amazon that the adaptations would only come out if both parties agreed upon the creative guidelines. However, most of that time has now passed, and now there are just 22 days left for the deal to be finalized.

Time running out could push for a resolution. However, if things don’t work out, it will be rough news for Cavill and fans of the Warhammer franchise.
