Starring Sebastian Stan and Florence Pugh is Marvel’s Thunderbolts*. However, Anthony Mackie is also ready for the release of his upcoming film Captain America: Brave New World.
What do these two films have in common? Sebastian Stan. In a recent interview, the actor almost accidentally spoiled the films but his reflexes are indeed pretty good.
Well, the question was an obvious trap but thanks to Sebastian Stan’s impressive presence of mind, the actor was able to avoid falling into the said trap, and fans were saved from getting their movie spoiled.
Speaking of Captain America: Brave New World and Anthony Mackie, the duo of Mackie and Stan had quite an amazing bonding while working in the MCU. Well, Stan seems to be missing his best friend quite begrudgingly.
Could it be another lie to cover up the main lie?
In the interview above, Sebastian Stan didn’t really mention whether he will be a part of Captain America: Brave New World or not. Considering the chemistry of his MCU character, it could very well be a lie.

However, in a separate interview with Variety‘s Awards Circuit podcast, The Apprentice star revealed that he was missing his dear old buddy Anthony Mackie since the two weren’t working together on a common project.
[Filming] Thunderbolts*, let me tell you, it was a much quieter year for me because I didn’t see Anthony Mackie. So, I’ll say that. Although I miss Anthony Mackie like daily, and it’s something I don’t like to admit.
Well, it could be another lie told smartly and used to cover up the greater lie that Sebastian Stan might be a part of Captain America: Brave New World after all. Or, could it be that Stan might really not be a part of the upcoming Captain America film?
Nothing can be confirmed or denied at the moment of writing. The only thing that we can say with certainty is that Marvel’s Thunderbolts* is slated for a release date of 2 May 2025 in theaters across the U.S.
