Deep breaths everyone, it’s a big day for FromSoft fans, or at least that’s what they’re hoping is the case.

Later on, Sony will hold its first State of Play event of the year – and I bet you can guess what that means.

Yes, FromSoft fans are inhaling generous amounts of bloodbornium / copium, whatever your metaphorical substance of choice is.

Could Sony finally unveil Bloodborne’s comeback? I remain dubious, as ever, but I’m happy to clown regardless.

We’ll take anything at this point. A sequel, remaster, PS5 native port … you name it.

It won’t be long until we find out exactly what the event has in store.

In the meantime, I want to draw your attention to a fantastic Dark Souls modding project.

Are you familiar with Elden Ring’s ‘Seamless Co-op’ mod?

If you’re nodding your head ‘yes’, then you may be interested to discover that, as reported by PC Gamer, that same modder is now working on adding multiplayer to Dark Souls 3.

The modder, known as Yui, is in the midst of working on a new ‘Seamless Co-op’ mod, this time for Dark Souls 3.

Of course, Dark Souls 3 does have its own native co-op mode, but Yui’s project seeks to “remove all multiplayer boundaries” from the game, allowing “for connections to persist after death”.

Essentially, what you’ll get here is a more comprehensive version of what you can access in the vanilla game.

The modder, who noted that the project remains in progress, uploaded a short teaser showing the mod in action.

Yui ventured through Lothric Castle alongside a friend before the duo picked a fight with the Dancer of the Boreal Valley.

When the boss is defeated, the co-op session remains active – a welcomed upgrade, I think you’ll agree.

The mod isn’t available to download just yet, but I recommend subscribing to Yui’s YouTube channel if you want to follow along with its progress.
