RPGs are set to dominate once again this year and alongside the titles already on our radar, this upcoming spacefaring adventure is not one to miss out on.

Alongside titles such as Avowed, Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Monster Hunter: Wilds to name a few, 2025 is shaping up to be yet another year with some incredible RPG releases.

However, if you simply just need more, then this upcoming spacefaring, adventure RPG combining elements of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and No Man’s Sky will be right up your street.

Void Sails is set to arrive on PC on 1 May and its official synopsis reads as follows:

“Become the captain of a state-of-the-art flying ship and embark on a perilous journey through space in search of your missing father.

Explore mysterious worlds, collect occult artifacts, and confront hostile forces that stand in your way. In this Action-Adventure RPG, your choices shape the story as you upgrade your ship, meet unique characters, and uncover the dark truths hidden behind the Veil.

Uncover dark secrets in a game where every discovery could bring you closer to the truth, or Eldritch levels of madness.”

In the single-player adventure RPG, players will take on the role of a captain of a flying ship who must travel across uncharted space.

Much like Spiritfarer, you will be able to upgrade your ship by adding power to the engines and gunpowder to your cannons as you take on formidable foes.

How you approach Void Sails’ story is completely up to you – whether you fight or flee, where you choose to put your strength and even the smallest decision can make the biggest difference.

However, you will need to fight to survive in more than one way as the void beyond the stars threatens to pull you closer and as you delve deeper into the unknown, madness could indeed be waiting.

Void Sails arrives on PC via Steam on 1 May, 2025.
