The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 has added a trio of new actors. The Netflix legal drama, which is adapted from the book series by Michael Connelly, stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Mickey Haller, a lawyer who operates out of a Lincoln Town Car. Season 3 ended with Haller being framed for murder and being arrested after a client’s body was planted in his trunk. The explosive cliffhanger ending will be followed by The Lincoln Lawyer season 4, which was renewed in January 2025, just over three months after the previous season premiered on the platform.

Per Deadline, Gigi Zumbado, Marcus Henderson, and Kacey Montoya are joining the cast of The Lincoln Lawyer season 4. Zumbado will portray Grace, a paralegal-in-training who is a classmate of Mickey’s former client Izzy (Jazzmine Raycole) and joins the team aiding with his defense. Henderson will play another ally, Mickey’s South African cellmate Yannick Bamba, who is paid to protect Mickey until he is able to be released. Meanwhile, Montoya, who is a reporter for KTLA, will be portraying herself, adding realism to the Los Angeles setting of the series.

The Incoming Stars Are Well Cast

All three actors joining the Lincoln Lawyer cast in season 4 are good fits for the roles that they will be playing. This extends far beyond the fact that Kacey Montoya will be playing herself, as her two co-stars have an ample array of onscreen experience that should have prepared them well for their roles. This includes both of them having already starred in various television procedurals in addition to playing roles that showcase their abilities to bring their new characters to life.

For instance, Gigi Zumbado has previously appeared in episodes of The Rookie, Doctor Odyssey, 9-1-1, and Criminal Minds, though the recent character that has likely best prepared her to portray Grace is her role as Monica in the Valentine’s Day slasher Heart Eyes, a warmhearted supporting character who is the best friend of the lead, Olivia Holt’s Ally McCabe. Similarly, in addition to having appeared in NCIS and Tacoma FD, Marcus Henderson is no stranger to intense roles, having held roles in the Blumhouse horror movies Get Out and Insidious: The Last Key.

The characters that the incoming stars will be playing seem to indicate that the Lincoln Lawyer season 3 ending will have long-lasting repercussions on the show’s overarching storyline.
