With Avalanche Software reportedly working on a sequel for Hogwarts Legacy, the current RPG has been left to its own devices when it comes to extra content.

Despite a brief summer update in 2024, Hogwarts Legacy is yet to receive any type of major expansion or DLC, despite fans pleading for more content in the Harry Potter inspired RPG.

Which is why its modding community has had to work overtime when it comes to keeping the game alive.

That is definitely the case with Hogwart’s Legacy: Dungeon of Doom, a recently updated mod created by infinitumentllc.

Available to download for free, this mod does not feature a lot of information, but does include an interesting little riddle which reads as follows:

“Enter if you dare; Around every corner is a fresh new scare!

Can you find the exit & escape by a hair? Let’s find out, I’ll see you there!

Once you escape, come back again; Three Secret Arenas await your return, dear friend.

Hidden Buttons & Blasted Rocks, Will lead you to riches, or toasted socks!

I’m going to sing The Doom Song now, Doom doom doom doom doomy doom doom…”

What we can expect is a puzzle-filled, labyrinth of a dungeon which can be visited up to three times.

Not only that but players can expect to find some sort of treasure if they are lucky enough to avoid the traps and escape.

The entrance to the Dungeon of Doom can be found beyond the bridge and down the hill south of Hogsmeade and is framed by a magical looking street lamp outside.

No more information is provided and so you will be heading into the dangerous dungeon with no idea of what to expect or where to find the mysterious treasure.

Since its original release in September 2024, Dungeon of Doom has received over 22,000 downloads and so it is safe to say that you are missing out if you don’t try this epic free expansion.
