If you have ever found yourself wandering around the Commonwealth with the same three songs emanating from your Pip-Boy and have the strong urge to listen to something new, then you are in luck thanks to this free download.
During your Fallout 4 journey, you will spend a lot of time traipsing through a nuclear war-torn land and the only cars you will see will mock you in their states of disrepair.
Luckily, you have your trusty Pip-Boy as company and as well as acting as a map and inventory, it also allows you to listen to a range of different radio stations.
However, with Bethesda releasing Fallout 4 back in 2015, it is safe to say that the majority of players have heard all of the songs… repeatedly.
If you are one of them, then you are in luck as True Vault Escapades adds 59 episodes of Preston Hardin’s award-winning podcast to listen to at your leisure.
Created by DJ Atomic Wolf and EpicestGamer over on Nexus Mods, True Vault Escapades is the podcast we never knew we needed and even has its own Pip-Boy radio station dedicated to it.
The vintage-inspired detective show tells the story of a detective and a Vault girl and consists of up to 38 hours of content.
“True Vault Escapades podcast, a 1940s-inspired radio show about two wasteland detectives who solve crimes from Texas to New Vegas in the most exciting way possible,” the mod description reads.
“Tune in as our heroes (Walter & Bunny) with very different backgrounds meet, fall in love, and fight for justice in “True Vault Escapades”!
Though the story itself is a work of my own making, I made an effort not to interfere with existing Fallout lore and work around it for a more immersive experience.”
Since being uploaded last year, True Vault Escapades has received over 1,000 downloads with 90+ ringing endorsements so if you want a bit of company whilst exploring the Commonwealth, you know where to go.
If not, you can still tune into the podcast on its own dedicated site.
