The Miami Dolphins wide receiver could be poised to leave the Hard Rock Stadium this NFL offseason

Miami Dolphins‘ Tyreek Hill could be set to ditch the Hard Rock Stadium for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in a bitter blow to fans of the Floridian team following a challenging 2024/25 NFL season.

Without Tua Tagovailoa, the 30-year-old Hill struggled big time, only managing to score six touchdowns and failing to break 1000 receiving yards in what was his worst season since 2019 when he was with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Now apparently tired of life in the AFC East, it seems as though the speedy athlete is going to be leaving the organization after three seasons but fans won’t like his next destination as hints at a move to their interstate rivals, Tampa Bay.

 

“Three hour drive to Tampa about to be a breeze,” Hill posted to X.com, formerly Twitter, hinting he could perhaps even continuing living in the luxurious Miami whilst commuting the 279 miles to the Raymond James Stadium.

Hill calls for Dolphins exit

It would be an interesting move for the Bucs; who have their WR positions locked down with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, although the latter is 28 and suffered a major ankle injury.

However, Hill, who scored 13 touchdowns and made 1799 receiving yards in 2023/24, is contracted to the Dolphins until 2027.

But the NFL All-Pro could be traded away if both team and player become dissatisfied with each other and it certainly seems like Hill is now fed up with life at the Hard Rock Stadium.

“At the end of the day, there’s a lot of things I need to reassess about my career,” Hill told reporters after Week 18’s clash with the New York Jets. “And just see what I need to do to continue to get better as a player so I can continue to reach that 1000-yards mark.

“This is my first time I haven’t been in the playoffs. I’ve just got to do what’s best for me and my family, if that’s here or wherever the case may be.”
