Kelce was left devastated after his $6m Kansas City mansion was broken into earlier this year, with his NFL teammates buying him a collection of jerseys worth $120,000
Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates gifted him a lavish collection of Christmas presents worth an impressive $120,000 (€115,000) in an attempt to replace some items stolen from his residence.
Kelce’s $6million (€5.8m) mansion was burgled back in October, with the Super Bowl champion reportedly losing several treasured possessions. These included $100,000 (€96,000) worth of jewellery, $20,000 (€19,000) in cash, his first Super Bowl jersey and a watch that has since been recovered in Rhode Island.
The thieves reportedly spent less than 15 minutes inside the property, although the FBI is still investigating the case. Kelce, who was reported to be “upset and angry” about the robbery, responded by enhancing his home security following an NFL warning about a South American crime gang potentially targeting multiple players.
Despite this, Chiefs stars have attempted to boost Kelce’s morale by replacing some of the stolen items with a heartfelt Christmas gift for the tight end. As per The Sun, Kelce was given a box after a team meeting and instructed to open it immediately.

Inside, Kelce discovered jerseys belonging to NFL legends such as Tom Brady, Ray Lewis and Rob Gronkowski. The collection is estimated to have cost $120,000.
“He opened the box and felt like a kid at Christmas,” a source revealed. “They are going straight to his man cave, where he loves to hang out. Those pieces are going to be so special for him. Travis couldn’t stop saying thank you to everyone.”

A spate of NFL players have fallen victim to burglaries recently. Mahomes was targeted on October 6, followed by Travis’ property being broken into the next day while they were both playing for the Chiefs against New Orleans Saints.
In response to the break-in, Travis bolstered his home security system and installed reinforced locks among other comprehensive measures.
Kelce, aged 35, has yet to publicly comment on the robbery, while Mahomes only briefly addressed the issue at a Chiefs press conference in November, stating: “It’s frustrating, it’s disappointing.”
“I can’t get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing. It’s obviously something you don’t want happening to anybody, but especially yourself,” he said.
