Since the release of The Lincoln Lawyer season 3, fans have waited for news about whether Netflix would renew the show. Luckily, news finally broke that the fourth season would happen. Alongside the renewal, Netflix shared that Neve Campbell’s Maggie would come back full-time, and Yaya DaCosta’s Andy would leave The Lincoln Lawyer, throwing a wrench in the romance between Mickey and Andy.
Andy Leaving The Lincoln Lawyer Means Her Great Romance With Mickey Is Already Over
Andy & Mickey Were A Great Couple Who Ended Too Soon

Although Mickey and Maggie are inextricably linked, Mickey and Andy were a nice change of pace. They had excellent chemistry and challenged each other throughout The Lincoln Lawyer season 3. The duo had witty back-and-forth that was entertaining to watch. Rather than criticizing Mickey for his job, Andy understood his work as a defense attorney, which is a relief after Maggie’s constant judgments. Andy and Mickey called off their relationship at the end of The Lincoln Lawyer season 3 because they wanted to focus on work. Unfortunately, Yaya DaCosta leaving the legal drama means they won’t get back together.

Neve Campbell is returning for all ten episodes of The Lincoln Lawyer season 4, and Andy won’t be a barrier to their relationship. This is furthered by the fact that they’re following the books closely when it comes to the story and characters. In the book, she takes a leave of absence to help Mickey during the trial; then they go into COVID-19 lockdown together as a couple. Although they’ll probably scratch the pandemic storyline, The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 will undoubtedly explore the romantic pairing again.
