Marvel Rivals has announced a brand-new skin that’s going to rival Sue Storm’s Malice in terms of thirsting!

Right from its launch in early December 2024, Marvel Rivals has been constantly adding new additions that gamers simply can’t get enough of. From new characters to mini-games, there’s something for everyone in the title.

However, the most beloved additions in Marvel Rivals since its debut aren’t game modes and story expansions; they’re skins. Developer NetEase Games has added tons of costumes to the game and has revealed its plan to add to that catalog a brand-new skin for Luna Snow that might be more controversial than Sue Storm’s Malice.

Marvel Rivals‘ first season dropped on January 10th and brought brand-new heroes, features, buffs, nerfs, and much more. However, one of the biggest additions in Season 1 was Fantastic Four’s Sue Storm and her Malice skin.
Ever since Malice’s debut, gamers have been thirsting hard for it because of its revealing and flashy nature. Gamers have been calling it lord’s work and praising NetEase for saving the genre. However, NetEase has announced the arrival of the new Luna Snow Mirae 2099 skin, which might just break thirst records.

Gamers will soon be able to see Luna Snow with Mirae 2099 skin. It features purple accents, and the character’s facial highlights have also been changed to fit the theme. The skin is supposed to resemble the high-tech performer of Seoul 2099, and there’s no doubt NetEase has given the skin everything it needs to pull in purchasers.
Even Captain America will receive a brand-new skin that’s inspired by the character’s appearance in MCU’s Infinity War. The character model for the new skin seems quite different and looks to be a copy-paste of the movie.
Marvel Rivals community demands major changes

While it’s great to see that NetEase is blessing the hero-shooter with incredible skins, it’s time for the developer to meet player demands, and one of them is concerned with the flawed abilities of Magneto.
Over on the Rivals‘ official subreddit, one player suggested that Magneto shouldn’t have to reload his primary ability, Iron Volley. With this attack, he can fire a number of magnetic orbs forward and deal damage based on the player’s distance from the enemy.
While it’s a cool ability, it doesn’t change the fact that Magneto’s variable damage and slow attack speed lead to him dealing poor damage when compared to Duelists such as Mister Fantastic.
If NetEase removes the reload for the character, it will help increase his overall damage and fix his slow rate of fire. Let’s hope the development team can take a look at this issue and buff the character with upcoming patches for Marvel Rivals.
With that said, are you excited about all the new skins coming to Marvel Rivals? Let us know in the comments below.
