Everyday theories and speculations were already there, for example, the moon theory which predicted the probable release date of the second trailer of GTA 6. However, that theory didn’t see the light of reality as Rockstar decided to stay stubborn. And now the meme world has joined this flurry as well, with the “we got…….before GTA 6” meme. No matter how many unexpected things have surfaced on the internet, one thing is quite expected – this “before GTA 6” meme in the comment section.

However, no matter how eager the community becomes about the game, GTA 6 won’t be released until it’s perfectly ready, as per Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, which is the parent company of Rockstar Games. This is what Zelnick stated in an interview with GamesIndustry.Biz about Take-Two’s busy lineup in 2025:

First of all, we bring the titles to market when they’re ready and not before, so we can’t manage the timing perfectly. Secondly, we’ve been building our pipeline for years in service of having an annual release schedule that’s robust year in, year out.

Seeing the statement by Zelnick, it’s pretty clear that Rockstar will take some more time to release the highly anticipated title, and it makes sense too. GTA 5 was a gigantic hit, so the developers are pretty careful about making GTA 6 as perfect as possible as the game has a huge burden of carrying forward the legacy of its predecessors on its shoulder.

The meme world didn’t stop after making millions of “we got….before GTA 6” memes. Recently, a video has taken the internet world by storm which featured the current US president Donald Trump giving an executive order to Rockstar Games to release this highly anticipated title as soon as possible.

In this video, a White House official is seen saying, “And lastly, Sir, we have an executive order requiring Rockstar Games to release GTA 6 in 2025 and drop a second trailer next week,” as she hands Trump some documents to sign. The president responded, “Really? That’s a big one. For years, even decades, many people have been anticipating this rollout, when everything will be made public.”

However, that video is not original as someone added some AI voice lines of Trump and the White House employee which made people believe the other way around. This video was taken from a clip that was actually released by ABC News.

However, it would be pretty great if Trump actually gave an executive order to Rockstar to release this highly anticipated title right now. But it seems that the executive order might have failed to do so as the company will release the game only when it is “ready and not before.”
