So is the Bible a historical tome in Harry Potter or…?
Hogwarts Legacy has just received some festive mods that aim to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to the Harry Potter game, which are now available for free over on Nexus.
The first of these mods is the “Mrs Claus Outfit (Dress and Accessories)” mod by author sebominis, which adds four new items that players can wear to give their characters that Santa-esque feel.
The items are the Mrs Claus Outfit and Cape, the Ornament Earrings, the Mistletoe Wreath, and the Ribbon Gloves, along with three extra recolours that allow you to customise your character’s outfit to your liking.
The second mod is the “Santa Hats and Mistletoe” mod from author MissSoapy, which adds two Santa Christmas hats to the game alongside some decorative mistletoe.
To clarify, I don’t actually think you can interact with the mistletoe in any way. It’s just purely decorative. I could be wrong but I’d be impressed if I am, because I think introducing custom animations like that is pretty difficult to do in Hogwarts Legacy.
Plus, to make the Christmas treat even better, you can currently grab the game for 75% off on Steam as part of the Warner Bros Christmas Steam sale.
That means you can snag the game for an impressively low £12.49 on PC, so you can mod it to your hearts content on the cheap.
By all accounts, the PC version of the game performs pretty well too, as it’s earned itself a “Very Positive” review score on Steam with over 90% of the reviews being positive.
What’s the lore behind Christmas in the Harry Potter universe, anyway?
They have a Christmas break, they open presents and they drink eggnog so… does that make Jesus canon in the Harry Potter universe?
Oh my God, does that mean Jesus was canonically a wizard?
