Many of us have been ravenously waiting for Georgia Horsley to comment on her husband Danny Jones’ alleged kiss with Maura Higgins, and while she’s still yet to issue an official statement, sources close to having started to fill in the gaps.

At the start of the month, videos circulated online that seemingly showed Danny kissing Love Island’s Maura Higgins at Universal Music’s Brits afterparty. It quickly went viral, especially after people noticed that Danny had somewhat predicted the mess hours before.

Naturally, earlier comments about Georgia and Danny’s marriage were unearthed but literally no one involved was openly speaking about it. But that hasn’t stopped people from trying and Georgia has now reportedly been forced to turn down multiple interviews and an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.

Celebrity Big Brother were keen to get her on the show

This week, a TV source claimed that Celebrity Big Brother producers were super keen to have Georgia spill all the juicy details for the nation to see in the upcoming series.

“CBB bosses know how to hook an audience and it would be must-watch TV,” they told The Sun. “There’s no doubt that Danny and Maura would be watching through cracks between their ­fingers if Georgia gave a warts-and-all account of her reaction on the night and afterwards. Producers are cutting it fine, however, and they need to agree a deal. The series starts next month.”

It would have made for gripping if not exploitative TV, but then again, isn’t all reality television somewhat exploitative?

Georgia Horsley turned down Big Brother

In an exclusive with The Mirror, a source close to Georgia said she has no intention of airing her dirty laundry for the nation to see. Specifically, she doesn’t want to put her and Danny’s son Cooper through it.

“She’s heartbroken, but she’s dealing with it in her own way, away from the cameras and headlines. She’s never been interested in the spotlight when it comes to personal matters,” they said. “Georgia believes some things should be handled behind closed doors, especially for Copper’s sake. Right now, she’s just trying to process everything without outside noise influencing her decisions.”

Despite Celebrity Big Brother reportedly offering her six figures for the stint, Georgia’s team reportedly couldn’t reach a deal.

She’s also been rejecting interviews and skipping booked appearances

Georgia has remained silent about the matter and she’s even been ditching pre-booked appearances, according to The Mirror. Last week she was set to co-host a live podcast at The Baby Show alongside Kelsey Parker but skipped it.

“A lot of people have approached her about speaking out or doing interviews, but that’s just not who she is. Georgia doesn’t want to turn this into a public spectacle. She’s focused on figuring out if there’s anything left to save in her relationship, but she’ll do that privately, on her own terms,” the source said.

With all that considered maybe this is another scandal that will remain drenched in mystery and speculation forever.

Many people have questioned whether the couple will be heading to splitsville in the near future, but according to the same source, Danny and Georgia are trying to make their marriage work in light of the Brits’ mess.

They explained: “They want to try make this work. Even with everything going on, Georgia still respects Danny enough not to make this some big media circus. She’s upset, she’s hurt, but she’s keeping it all within her inner circle. She wants to deal with this quietly and make decisions based on what’s best for her and Copper, not what the public thinks.

“Unlike a lot of people in their world, Georgia values privacy above all else. She won’t do TV, she won’t do tell-alls, she just wants to handle things in a way that feels right for her and her family. The last thing she wants is for this to turn into a spectacle.”
