Squid Game season two has been out for 24 hours and has already clawed its way up to number one on the Netflix top ten charts. After phenomenal success in its first season, prompting Squid Game: The Challenge, MrBeast’s Beast Games and even a Squid Game rave, season two has come back with a bang. However, viewers who have already binged the entirety of Squid Game season two have noticed a strange plot hole in episode three which carries on throughout the rest of the season. I won’t spoil the end, but this article will contain information about the first few episodes, so beware, and read at your own risk!

The huge plot hole in season two of Squid Game pertains to episode three in which we first meet Thanos, or Player 230. His character was a rapper with a lot of debt from Myung-gi, Player 333’s Bitcoin that plummeted and left a lot of his subscribers empty-pocketed. During the first game, which is the classic Red Light, Green Light, Thanos reached for his cross necklace and took a pill from it. It’s a miracle how he survived the first round.
The pot hole is just this: How did he manage to get drugs past the security checks? Player 149, who was the older lady who came in to pay off her son’s debt, said she wasn’t even allowed to bring in supplies to help with her weak bladder. And, as we can’t forget, Gi-hun had a literal CHIP in his tooth that was extracted by the security. Are you telling me they just let him bring these drugs in, which would affect his game performance and mess with the sanctity of the games? Make it make sense.
It’s an undeniable plot hole

Even if the Front Man somehow figured out that Gi-hun had a GPS tracker inside his tooth, it wouldn’t make sense to let Thanos bring in the necklace filled with drugs. Yes, other people had accessories on, but there is absolutely no way he should have been allowed in. I just don’t buy it!
