🚨 It’s official: Virgin River Season 7 is coming… but not everything is staying the same.
Netflix just confirmed the beloved small-town drama will return for a 7th season — but fans are already buzzing over the leaks and subtle clues.
A major departure.
A shocking return.
And one scene that’s already being called “the most emotional moment of the entire series.”
Virgin River’s beloved cast has confirmed filming on the Netflix drama’s seventh season is now at an end.
The smash-hit series follows the heartwarming romance of Mel Monroe (played by Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) and has been in production in Vancouver.
At the start of the series, nurse practitioner Mel flees to the idyllic Northern California town after a tragedy and soon falls for rugged ex-Marine and bar owner Jack.
Season six concluded with the pair finally tying the knot in a stunning ceremony that wasn’t without its fair share of shocking surprises.
With fans on tenterhooks for the next chapter of the story, a number of Breckenridge and Henderson’s co-stars have taken to Instagram to confirm a wrap on the upcoming outing.

Dan Brady star Benjamin Hollingsworth posted a selfie alongside season five newcomer Kandyse McClure, who plays Kaia Bryant, penning: “First day of Summer and Last day of Filming Season 7 of Virgin River.”
McClure added in the post’s comments: “It was the best day!”
Zibby Allen, who plays Jack’s sister Brie, also joined the fun with some touching photos with the cast.
“VRS7 wrapped,” she wrote. “These lives within these lives…”
To which Hollingsworth replied sweetly: “I hit the scene partner jackpot.”
Virgin River’s iconic mayor Hope McCrea, played by Annette O’Toole, has also finished her scenes for the season, as the actress wrote “Bye Vancouver!” alongside a picture of her dog Barry in a carrier.
Fan-favorite Colin Lawrence, who plays Jack’s best friend John ‘Preacher’ Middleton, gave fans even more insight with a video from his final day on set for season seven.
“And that, my friends, is a wrap on season seven for John ‘Preacher’ Middleton,” he said.
“Oh gosh, what can I tell you? Another stellar season, in my humble opinion. This show has been the most fun to work on.
“I’ve been so blessed to have been a part of this for the last seven seasons.
He then added, “Fingers crossed more to come”, leaving the future of the series up in the air, but also promised “more laughs, more tears, just a lot of emotion” in the new season.
