Usually, it would be seen as something petty, but in reality, it isnât.
There are various technical problems on the PC port, which havenât been dealt with, and Capcom is not addressing them at all. While the idea might have been big from Capcomâs end, but now the game a fine example of how they should have known their limitations.

If youâve been a long-term fan of the Monster Hunter franchise, you already know how vivid each location was. Every game had a variety of monsters to slay and fun encounters to experience. However, that experience with Monster Hunter Wilds is pretty lacklustre and fans are calling it unfinished.
The biggest criticism that Capcom is facing is how badly optimized the game is. Multiple users of Steam complained that it is hampering the player experience. In addition to technical issues, the world of Monster Hunter Wilds also comes up lacking in content compared to previous iterations. Cheaters are also an issue in the game, which thwarts the experience.
The limited content availability on Monster Hunters Wilds can be fixed with a few DLC updates. However, it wonât bode well with the community if the game remains unplayable to most of them. The very first thing fans now want is for the game to be fixed in terms of performance.
We all know how well-crafted each Monster Hunter game was, and we certainly wonât settle for less. The decline in quality from Capcom is leading us players to believe that this game is simply a cash grab, while it shouldnât be.
The addition of microtransactions may have been good for business, but doing it with a broken game? Thatâs not acceptable in anyoneâs books. If the game was fun enough and rich with content, nobody would have felt this way. Rather, people would be happy to spend some extra money to support their favorite franchise.

Thereâs no way to deny Monster Hunter Wilds has a lot of flaws, which Capcom is overlooking. However, we should remain hopeful to a certain extent. There is already an event scheduled for June 26, where Capcom will showcase what they have been up to.
Moreover, we might also get a peek at the second Title Update for Monster Hunter Wilds, which has already teased the addition of new monsters. But alongside that, we fans would be glad if the technical issues were dealt with as well. Or else, the update would be good for nothing.
Capcom has a lot of potential, and for fans, itâs disheartening to see the drop in quality. Itâs not like they donât want to change their minds. The only thing thatâs requested is fixing the problems, and they would be more than happy to give a positive review once again.
Ultimately, itâs down to Capcom whether they will rise again or come crumbling down. Negative reviews arenât a new thing to any of us, and even Helldivers 2 and No Manâs Sky faced it. And we know how hard the developers worked to turn the ship around. If that happens in Capcomâs case, then thereâs no stopping Monster Hunter Wilds from reaching success.
