Star Wars Outlaws, one of the notable AAA releases of 2024, has received a massive 50% discount—its biggest ever—on Steam. The enticing price drop comes just over three months after Star Wars Outlaws became available on Valve’s storefront, having previously been available to PC players through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store exclusively.

Ubisoft’s original take on the Star Wars IP, starring a brand-new protagonist Kay Vess, first arrived on August 30, 2024, across PC and current-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Upon launch, Star Wars Outlaws struggled to hit expected sales targets despite being met with overall positive reviews. Since then, its performance on the commercial side of things hasn’t experienced much of a change, with sources reporting that 2023’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was outperforming Ubisoft’s more recent Star Wars game. Lately, a big discount deal has surfaced on Steam for Outlaws that could significantly help move more copies.

As part of the ongoing Ubisoft games sale, Star Wars Outlaws is currently available for its lowest-ever price of USD 34.99 on Steam. This limited-time 50% off deal on the open-world game can only be claimed before 9 AM PST or 12 PM EST on March 13, 2025. Moreover, the latest price cut is even bigger than its previous historical low of USD 45.49 (35% off), which was last available on January 2, 2025. Interestingly, the price drop comes just over six months after Star Wars Outlaws‘s initial release last August.

Star Wars Outlaws Gets Biggest Discount on Steam Ever

Apart from Star Wars Outlaws, a range of different Ubisoft-published games is up for grabs with slashed prices on Steam. Another sci-fi film franchise-based game, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, also hit its lowest-ever price on the store at USD 23.09 (67% off). For fans of the action-adventure genre, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage once again reached its cheapest Steam price ever at USD 19.99 (60% off). Furthermore, the city builder game Anno 1800 also got its biggest-ever price for the first time and is now available for USD 5.99 (90% off).

In the meantime, another big Ubisoft release has been getting closer by the day. Scheduled to launch on March 20, 2025, Assassin’s Creed Shadows finally looks ready to hit the shelves after facing multiple delays over the past few months. The highly anticipated title comes at a crucial time for the French gaming giant, which has been surrounded by buyout speculation in recent times.
