Adolescence viewers have spotted a major clue that ‘gives away’ Jamie Miller’s fate just minutes into the groundbreaking Netflix drama – but did you notice it when you watched?
The four-part series – which premiered on the streaming service on March 13 – follows a young lad called Jamie (Owen Cooper), who is arrested for killing his female classmate.
The show has received rave reviews as it has cleverly brought to attention the rise in misogyny amongst young boys.
But one fan took to TikTok to point out something that has blown a lot of viewers’ minds.
They shared a clip from the first episode, when the police burst into Jamie’s family home to arrest him for the murder and Jamie is in bed in his bedroom.
The schoolboy looks scared as the police surround him and he places his hand on the wall, where part of the wallpaper has come off, and some think that the mark looks like a knife.

Another added: ‘It’s something I noticed on the last ep too when the dad was in his room.’
‘He even checks his hand as if he’s checking he cleaned them properly,’ a third chimed in.
A fourth added: ‘And the very last scene when the dad is on his bed is like the knife in his back.’

A source told The Sun: ‘Execs are thrilled by the results and acclaim for Adolescence, it’s seen as a format that can run and run, at least to a second series if not further, as it could take in a different teen issue each series.
‘The topic has resonated with viewers because it taps into parents biggest fear and there’s plenty of scope for more in the same vein.
