Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has surprisingly become one of this year’s best games, and an incredible success for developer Warhorse Studios. It’s almost like the perfect RPG for a lot of players, but while the majority of the playerbase itself is happy, it seems as though Warhorse itself wants to tweak things and make things a little better.
Earlier today, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 director Daniel Vavra held a charity live stream, in which he managed to raise a whopping 3 million Czech crowns (just over $125,000). During this live stream, Vavra unsurprisingly talked about his newly released game at length, which was roughly translated by Reddit user VincentVanHades and shared with other fans on the game’s subreddit.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Devs Are Aware Of Late-Game Balance Issues
According to VincentVanHades, Vavra explained during the stream that he was “surprised” more people don’t talk about the late-game balance issues in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, particularly when it comes to the combat and economy and how simple they can get. It’s claimed Vavra specifically mentions the game’s economy, as everyone can gather expensive items, yet merchants don’t have enough cash for you to sell them.
Either way, it’s nice to hear that Warhorse is keeping tabs on potential issues that players have with the game, and that fixes are already being thought about, even if they might take a while to actually arrive. Hopefully, once people actually start making their way through the game and hit the finish line, Warhorse can start on these balance tweaks.
