While the game’s hype is at an all-time high, fans wonder about Resident Evil 9 as its Metacritic page is already up. Capcom hasn’t given a direct update on the game, but the publisher has hinted that it is targeting a 2026 release window.

In a recent Q&A, Capcom revealed that it is considering launching more AAA titles next fiscal year, but it depends on Monster Hunter Wild’s sales. FY25 has already started, so Capcom is talking about releasing more AAA titles in FY26.
The gaming giant was asked, after releasing Monster Hunter Wilds, what measures will it take to continue achieving double-digit operating income growth for the fiscal year.
