Sony’s predictions fell face-first down in the dirt with this game. Even the trailer of the game got more dislikes than likes, and the company still failed to assess the situation and come up with a fix.

Sony’s negligence with this game led it to bear millions of dollars in losses, making it Sony’s biggest disaster to date. The game’s failure even led to a lot of internal strife within the company.

There were a lot of early signs that directly indicated the game’s fall. However, Sony decided to turn a blind eye to these signs and released it anyway.

Sony failed to react positively to the initial criticism and took it with a pinch of salt. It was reckless of the company to rush into releasing such an expensive game without testing the waters first.
