Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has shared a post from her fiancee as they excitedly prepare for their wedding amid his uncertain future on the Cobbles.
The actor and his partner Hanni Treweek announced back in June that they were set to tie the knot after the actor had popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Hanni while on a safari holiday in Tanzania.
They regularly updated social media with the magnificent animals they had spotted on safari before moving on to Zanzibar. At the end of the trip, Hanni took to social media to reveal that Jack had popped the question and that she agreed to marry him.
Since then, in October that Jack and Hanni revealed that they’d set a date for their special day and shared a look at their gorgeous ‘save the dates’ that will be sent out to their nearest and dearest. “26th July 2025 we become Mr & Mrs Shepherd!!” she shared.
And the wedding planning is still very much in full swing with just over four months to go until the big day. Taking to Instagram, Hanni shared a picture of the pair staring lovingly into one another’s eyes.
Alongside the adorable post, she wrote on her Instagram Story: “I love wedding planning with you,” adding a face holding back tears emoji and tagging her future husband.
It comes after Jack, who will have soon portrayed Weatherfield’s David for 25 years, seemingly confirmed the fate of his and his character’s time on the cobbles.

Appearing via a video call on This Morning, the actor said it would have been “nice” to reach his 25-year milestone on the ITV show next month, but that the next instalment marked “the end”.
A clip from Wednesday night’s (March 5) episode teased on the morning programme showed David getting knocked to the ground by a car after his plan to stage a hit-and-run to claim the insurance money to pay off his debts goes wrong.
Discussing the episode, the 37-year-old said: “Twenty-five years – its a long time. I think it’s about 25 years next month, it would have been nice to kind of reach that milestone but sadly it’s tonight, it’s the end. But I’ve loved every minute of it.”
