While the “experts” were busy following quest markers, the most ruthless mercenaries in Pywel have been busy raiding the Bluemont estate. Located in the western district of Hernand, Bluemont Manor holds one of the most sought-after early-game accessories: the Finely Crafted Gold Necklace.

This “Attack Necklace” provides a direct boost to your offensive stats and critical hit rate. However, between the guarded doors and a mechanical piston puzzle, getting your hands on it requires more than just a sharp sword.

The Entry: The Silent Infiltrator

You can buy a key at the Back Alley Shop to walk through the front door, but why waste the silver?

The “Pro” Entrance: Head to the southern building of the estate. Instead of fighting the guards at the door, climb onto the second-floor balcony on the left side of the house. The windows there are unlocked, allowing you to bypass security entirely.

The Strongbox Location: Once inside, follow the hallway to the western-most room. You’ll find the strongbox (a large wooden cabinet) sitting near the door.

The Puzzle: The Piston Tumbler

This is the “fiddly” part that has frustrated thousands of players. You’ll see five cylinders and five dials. The goal is to align the silver line of each piston with the top edge of the wooden frame.

The Logic: Use the button on the far right to “test” the height. The cylinders will jump up; if the silver section clears the wood while the gold section stays inside, that pin is set.

    1st Wheel: Scroll down 5 times.

    2nd Wheel: Scroll down 2 times.

    3rd Wheel: Scroll down 4 times.

    4th Wheel: Scroll down 3 times.
