The world of Cyberpunk 2077, and Night City, is vast and filled with hidden details and secrets, with some nodding towards other CD Projekt RED titles, and others paying homage to icons of pop culture.

Players of Cyberpunk 2077 are forever finding cool items or details, many of which will be familiar.

One such player has stumbled across a lovely little detail while traipsing through Night City, an Easter egg that points to a certain action star.

Redditor _seakitty_ dashed over to the message board to report they’d found a dead body, emerging from a fridge.

So what? Well, they had a fedora next to them, which conjures the scene from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, where Indy hops into an old fridge to escape from a nuclear blast.

The scene was visited by Mythbusters some years after, so technically this is a nod to both the original scene, and the Mythbusters testing whether survival is even possible.

The text log found on the body actually mentions the Mythbusters test, with the character pondering if they could survive a blast while inside.

I guess they didn’t, seeing as they’re slowly decomposing.

The rest of the log says that the character is trying it out as a viewer request for their TV show, much like when the myth first landed on the desk of Adam Savage and Jamie Hynemen.

As the original poster says in a reply, it’s an “Easter egg of an Easter egg”.

This is a feature that has appeared in other games, too.

As one Redditor points out, “Reminds me of finding the dead body of Gordon Freeman in Stalker.”
