Despite having been out in the world for over four years, fans are still stumbling across incredible features and secrets throughout the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

From heartbreaking discoveries to the uncovering of Johnny Silverhand’s real name, CD Projekt RED developers were not exaggerating when they revealed that fans were far from finding all of the secrets Cyberpunk 2077 had hidden within.

That is why this recent discovery by one user over on r/cyberpunkgame had fans shocked and inspired to boot up the game once again and try it out for themselves.

“Why the hell is no-one talking about this secret little vent in Phantom Liberty?” They proclaimed alongside a description of their discovery.

The vent in question is found during the Somewhat Damaged quest in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty DLC.

This is quite a memorable quest as your decision will mark a major turning point in the story.

However, according to this discovery, there is a way to skip a large portion of the mission.

“So basically if you all played Phantom Liberty, you’ll know what the Somewhat Damaged quest is,” the user explained.

“So there’s the little room which you need 20 tech points to enter and get Erebus.

And here’s the thing, if you look on the left, then up, you can see a little yellow catwalk and if you climb there (I just used the double jump thing), you can enter one of Cerberus’ vents and skip the whole data-term breaching thing.

Like that’s just so useful to know.”

The Erebus weapon is a very good weapon to get your hands on so being able to grab it without having to spend time breaching will make things go a whole lot quicker when it comes to finding Songbird.

However, making use of the vent may not be the best plan of action as the formidable Militech Cerberus machine may very well follow you.
