Despite being released almost a decade ago, Fallout 4 continues to host a respectable player base and that may just be thanks to Bethesda’s attention to detail in its war-torn open world.

Well, it is probably actually due to its dedicated modding community but go with me here.

This secret treasure trove may prove my point.

Thanks to one player over on r/fo4, it’s been uncovered that Fallout 4 is home to a secret location that, despite being unmarked on the map, hides an interesting find.

“Bridgeway Trust is one of the most uniquely ludicrous unmarked locations,” the original poster shared, alongside a brief video of the treasure-filled vault.

In the hidden vault, players can uncover multiple locked safes (each with varying levels of lockpicking difficulty), gold bars, and money (which isn’t much use post-apocalypse).

However, this vault is definitely unmissable if you wish to make a bit of money or flex those lockpicking skills.

Located one block south of Backstreet Apparel in Boston, user BuildingAirships had the following to say about their find: “There are half a dozen banks in the Commonwealth, but none hold a candle to this ridiculous treasure trove.”

“In addition to gold bars and stacks of money, there are fifteen SIXTEEN locked safes in the vault, far more than I’ve ever seen in one place. The total amount of loot you accumulate (particularly pre-war money you can sell for serious caps) is pretty unparalleled.”

They continued, “And for added flavour, the bank was being robbed when the bombs fell, so you’ll find two armed, gas-masked robbers who met an untimely fate when their explosives went off prematurely.”

Better yet, the vault reportedly resets after a certain amount of time so that means that you can make a few trips if you are ever short of money.

An interesting find indeed.
