Far Cry fans can play Far Cry 6 for free right now on behalf of Ubisoft, no strings attached either.
While it didn’t quite live up to the hype of previous entries Far Cry 6 was a pretty decent game, I mean it had Giancarlo Esposito as the villain for crying out loud.
Either due to fatigue with the series or just the so-so reviews I’m sure many won’t have given Far Cry 6 a go, and that’s fair enough as games are expensive and no one wants to spend money on something they may or may not like.
To fix that though Ubisoft is giving you the chance to play the game for free as part of a free trial, with no strings attached, purchases to make or memberships to subscribe to, it’s just free.
You can choose your desired platform and get a code for the game, which you’ll only be able to play for a limited-time.
If you don’t like what you play, no harm done you’ve given it a go and decided it wasn’t for you!
If you did like what you played though, you’ll be happy to hear that any progress you make in the game will be carried over if you decide to purchase it outright.
Keep in mind though that Far Cry 6 is available on Ubisoft+, so it might be cheaper to just subscribe to that for a month or two rather than buy the full game, it’s up to you though.
As for the future of Far Cry I’m afraid there’s very little to talk about right now, as Far Cry 7 is still a closely guarded secret and that multiplayer survival spin-off is also yet to be officially unveiled, though we do know it’s coming.
