đŸ”„ UNLOCK THE SECRET ARMOR & LIGHTNING POWER:

There’s a new dress code in Pywel, and it doesn’t involve the main protagonist. A wave of “secret armor” hunters is currently sweeping through Crimson Desert, as players realize that the game’s side characters, Uno and Damian, might just have the best wardrobes—and powers—in the entire realm.

The frenzy, sparked by a detailed investigation from KhrazeGaming, has sent thousands of players back to the Lion Crest Manor to trigger a “Legendary Animals” questline that many had previously overlooked.

The Valletread and the Lightning Orb

The star of the show is the Valletread Armor, an aesthetically stunning set for Uno. However, it’s the reward for the subsequent quest that has the community buzzing: the Storm Fang.

“It’s literal chain lightning,” says one veteran mercenary on the r/CrimsonDesert forums. “You call down a bolt that jumps from target to target. It turns AoE (Area of Effect) combat into a complete joke. If you haven’t finished the Hernandian parish missions, you’re playing at a disadvantage.”

Damian’s Desert Scavenger Hunt

For those playing as Damian, the hunt is even more intense. Her Light of the Battlefield set is currently “making rounds around the internet” due to its rare ice resistance and swim speed buffs.

The pieces are scattered in the most unlikely places: a pillar gap in Outlaw Canyon, a hidden cave in the Hole Sands Camp, and a literal shipwreck below the Trader Expanse. “You have to crawl through the canals of Varnia just to find her gloves,” reported a Soul Kings scout. “Pearl Abyss is making us work for every stitch of leather.”

The Deminis ‘Wall-Breaker’ Scandal

Perhaps the most “tabloid-worthy” discovery is the Hellfrain Armor set hidden within the city of Deminis. To find the chest piece, players must use a “Force Palm” to push in a secret wall located between two pillars on the city’s largest bell tower.

“They put the chest right behind a fake wall,” complained one treasure hunter. “And to top it off, they filled the room with gold ingots that you can’t even pick up. It’s like the developers are taunting us.”

Observers also noted a strange detail on the Hellfrain chest piece: a physical holster with a weapon Kliff cannot normally use. This has fueled wild speculation that Pearl Abyss may be planning to introduce entirely new weapon classes in an upcoming DLC.

Shadow Gloves and Jailbreaking

Beyond armor, the discovery of Shadow Gloves—consumable items that allow players to steal for a full minute without being caught—has led to a massive spike in “criminal activity” within the game’s major cities. “The Hernand guards can’t keep up,” said one roleplayer. “Everyone is running around with 60 seconds of immunity, emptying every strongbox in sight.”

As the community continues to bypass Kliff in favor of these high-tier side character rewards, one thing is clear: in the world of Crimson Desert, the sidekicks are no longer standing in the shadows.
