The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim really is the gift that keeps on giving, as it just refuses to die despite being over a decade old.

In fairness it’s still a great game albeit a bit dated, and even when The Elder Scrolls VI comes out I’m sure it’ll still have its fans.

Speaking of The Elder Scrolls VI, it’s 2025 and we’re still watching this brief teaser for the game, with seemingly no full trailer in sight

Hopefully Bethesda changes that later this year but I wouldn’t hold your breath, and there’s an argument to be made that no news is good news if the game is getting the development time it needs to succeed.

If you’re content to wait though and still playing Skyrim perhaps Lordbound will interest you, an expansion coming out later this year that’ll add a new map to explore complete with quests and side activities.

The mod will take you to the Druadach Valley, a new region that’s apparently much larger than Solstheim, the region you explore in the official DLC for Skyrim.

Between the 40 quests and 50 dungeons the team behind Lordbound reckons it adds over 60 hours of content to the game, which is not only fantastic as a standalone experience but even better if you want to do a new playthrough of the full game as well.

The mod even includes an original soundtrack and the NPCs all have voice acting, to add to the immersion.

As for when you’ll be able to play it for yourself you’ll have to wait a little bit longer, as its scheduled for release sometime in March later this year.
