Ginny & Georgia Season 4 Trailer just dropped—and Paul is the father… and also the villain?! 😱

🔥 Get ready for the most shocking season yet! Paul’s secrets are about to unravel, and everything you thought you knew is about to be flipped on its head.

👀 The drama is OFF THE CHARTS this season, and you won’t believe the twists coming your way!

Things are sure to get interesting in Ginny & Georgia season 4, especially if Georgia takes one particular route to get even with Paul. Though it seemed for a while that Paul could be Georgia’s Prince Charming, things quickly fell apart in the Netflix series’ third season. To his credit, Paul truly tried to stand by Georgia as the murder allegations came flooding in. He begged that she trust him, but he kept getting blindsided by lies and manipulation. In the end, the mayor of Wellsbury very publicly divorced his wife and threw her under the bus, but this backfired.

At the end of Ginny & Georgia season 3, Georgia was found not guilty of the murder of Tom Fuller. Austin lied to the jury and claimed that his father, Gil, had killed the man, which meant that Georgia was suddenly this sympathetic figure in the eyes of the public. Of course, this is entirely bad news to Paul. In the eyes of his community, he looks like a man who abandoned his wife, a victim of domestic violence, in her hour of need. It’s revealed in Ginny & Georgia season 4 that he will have to attempt to be re-elected as mayor, and this is an excellent opportunity for Georgia.

Georgia Is All Set Up To Run For Mayor In Ginny & Georgia Season 4

Season 3 Teased Another Election

The tease that Paul will have to go through another election to keep his status as mayor seems significant going into Ginny & Georgia season 4. This is sure to be a central plot point, but audiences would have no real reason to care unless Paul runs against someone of interest. It’s unlikely that Cynthia would run against Paul again, given all she has gone through. So, it seems safe to theorize that Georgia will run for mayor in the next installment of Ginny & Georgia.

It feels as if the Netflix series has been setting this up for quite some time. Paul is a good mayor, but many of his biggest achievements were only made possible because of Georgia. Then, when Paul suddenly backed the allowance for chain restaurants in Wellsbury, it was Georgia who stepped in to save the community’s small businesses. Then there’s Georgia’s conversation with her neighbor in Ginny & Georgia season 3 to consider. This woman perfectly demonstrated how the people of Wellsbury feel about Georgia after everything that has happened. Following the murder trial, she’s more popular than ever before.

Not only is Georgia likely to run for mayor in Ginny & Georgia season 4, but she’s almost guaranteed to win. Paul has never been a match for Georgia, and, now, he doesn’t even have Nick on his side. Paul is all alone, so Georgia is all set up to get the perfect kind of revenge on her ex-husband.

Georgia Becoming Mayor Would Be The Perfect Revenge Against Paul

Paul’s Entire Career Would Officially Be Ruined

Scott Porter As Mayor Paul Randolph In Ginny & Georgia Season 2

If Georgia were elected mayor, it would be a unique sort of hell for Paul. This Ginny & Georgia character isn’t a bad man. He made some mistakes, but he treated Georgia and her children remarkably well. Still, through everything, his career and the power it gave him were the most important thing. Paul loved Georgia because she had that natural ability to influence others. She could always find a way to get what she wanted. Together, Paul believed that they would be a power couple—this unstoppable pair who would rule Wellsbury side by side.

This would be especially terrible (from his perspective) if Georgia’s baby were Joe’s rather than his own.

If Paul had held out a little longer, he and Georgia could have achieved his dream together. However, Georgia’s pregnancy lie was the last straw. Though we can’t really blame him, and Georgia herself wasn’t overly angry at her ex in season 3, it’s difficult to say no to a bit of karma. Said and done, Paul is unlikely to have any power left in Ginny & Georgia. This would be especially terrible (from his perspective) if Georgia’s baby were Joe’s rather than his own. Suffice it to say, Ginny & Georgia season 4 is sure to be interesting.
