Regardless of when GTA VI is released, nobody can deny how impressive its graphics are.

Despite having only seen one trailer, the screenshots of in-game scenes have fans blown away.

A comparison taken from one of Far Cry 5’s cutscenes and a shot of Lucia from GTA VI has been shared on r/GTA6.

Its poster, Decent-Leadership192, remarked on how “wild” it is to see how far video games have come in such a relatively short amount of time.

Yet some aren’t certain why we should be so surprised by the graphics we’re expecting to see in GTA VI.

“Rockstar has never failed to surprise with graphics though,” Few_Individual5737 commented.

A similar remark was posted by another user further down in the discussion.

User literallyjuststarted said, “Rockstar has been revolutionary since GTA III what are you people on about? GTA IV was praised for its fidelity at the time and in some aspects it’s better than GTA V.”

As is the norm for any GTA related topic, there are always a few heated exchanges among players.

For the naysayers who don’t believe GTA VI will look this good in-game, Rockstar_VR would like to remind you of an important detail.

“A lot of people seem to forget that Rockstar always use in-game footage/graphics for their trailers,” they said. “This is the main reason I’m so excited for this game.”

Even if we momentarily ignore the stunning visuals of the upcoming release, it’s clear we’ll be playing GTA VI for years to come.

The game needs to launch as planned, however, for that to happen.

Fans are being told to mark their calendars for 6 February, with this date, and what’s taking place on this day, hopefully putting delay rumours to rest. We can but hope.

Even though we don’t know as much as we’d like to about GTA VI, we know enough to recognise how much of a hit it’ll be.

Some would argue it already is, though we don’t want to put the cart before the horse just yet.
