Margit is the ultimate troll, and now his presence is known throughout different titles.
FromSoftware has always been big on making sure the players of its games suffer in the worst way possible. This is unfortunately what everyone is expecting of the upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign too, as the latest information reveals there’s another miserable boss than the Nameless King waiting for you to land in the new version of The Lands Between.
The upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign is going to be a co-op experience | FromSoftware
Margit, The Fell Omen, is the first demi-boss that every player comes across in Elden Ring as they head into the Stormveil castle. Moreover, he also appears many times throughout the game, a tradition that will seemingly be continued in the upcoming co-op experience.

Elden Ring Nightreign is still in its early testing/closed networking testing phase to help take players’ feedback and polish the game one last bit before it is finally released on 30th May. However, as everybody expected, this has also led to new information leaking out, such as different character types or how Margit could invade you at any point in the game.
Margit, whose real identity is that of Morgott, the Omen King, has somehow built a cult fanbase around himself over the last few years. Talking about how players can just wish to become as big of a ‘hater’ as the demigod he is, users on the game’s official subreddit interacted with the following thread:
Just when you think you’d have escaped the demigod and his wrath, he has slipped right back in. The player will possibly have to play the game while worrying about a surprise attack, which could ruin your day at the worst possible moment.

FromSoftware knows how to make players suffer, but Margit’s surprise return in Nightreign is next-level trolling from the studio. He’s not the strongest boss Souls players have faced, but he is really the inevitable one now that his presence can be seen in more than one title.
Apart from the omen demigod, players will also get to see the return of the one enemy type every player hates, the fingercreeper. This hand-like creature with more than 5 fingers comes in different sizes and has been traumatizing players ever since Elden Ring was first released.
What’s worse is how the fingercreeper is teaming up with none other than the Centipede Demon who is making a return from the Dark Souls trilogy to make an appearance in the upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign title.
