Helen’s job as a Black Dove included stealing vital government information from her husband. However, after she started an affair with Jason, she no longer wanted to be part of the spy organization. Since Reed discovered that Helen and Jason were romantically involved, she needed a way to ensure that their mission wasn’t compromised. So she sent Dani to seduce Wallace and replace Helen in case they needed to kill her.

When Dani let one of Reed’s quotes slip, Helen knew she had been sent to replace her. The moment finally came for the two spies to fight and Helen walked out as the victor, but she left Dani alive. Although Reed decided to give Helen another chance, that doesn’t mean that Dani won’t try to take Helen’s place in Black Doves season 2. Ever since she became Wallace’s assistant, Dani had been flirting with him and trying to get him to cheat on Helen. She even went as far as telling Wallace that Helen was having an affair to break them up.
