For the past couple of months, fans and media seemed to be against actress Blake Lively after seeing the way she promoted her domestic abuse film, It Ends with Us. Instead of talking about domestic violence and related themes, the actress apparently told fans to ‘wear their florals’ and bring along their girlfriends to a film that might be traumatizing for some.

However, in a complete twist of fate, Lively recently filed a s*xual harassment lawsuit against co-star and director Justin Baldoni, who until now was seen as the ‘champion’ of the film and its cause. In the midst of all this, the reporter who reshared a video of her ‘bad experience’ with the actress has come forward to state that she had no hand in the drama.

Now we all remember how a reporter reshared an old interview with Blake Lively during the early days of It Ends with Us drama, revealing the actress’ unprofessional and uncalled-for behavior. In the said clip, Lively made some uncomfortable condescending remarks and she and her Cafe Society co-star Parker Posey went on to ignore the interviewer.

As the It Ends with Us drama has taken a new turn with Livley filing a s*xual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni and accusing him of running a calculated PR campaign to ruin her reputation, the journalist Kjersti Flaa has denied being involved in any of it.

I have nothing to do it. I would never take part in anything like that. That is such an insult to me. I don’t want a part of this. I posted a video [showing] how Blake Lively was behaving in my interview and that’s it.

Stated Flaa in a video posted on her Threads account, adding in the caption that she had nothing to do with Justin Baldoni or his alleged smear campaign. However, fans do not seem to believe her so far and have been berating the journalist for adding fuel to the fire she certainly knew was burning.

After Kjersti Flaa shared on her Instagram account that she had no involvement in the alleged PR campaign against Blake Lively run by the lead and director of It Ends with Us, Justin Baldoni. However, social media users and fans are having none of it, alleging that Flaa knew what she was doing when she apparently reshared the interview at the perfect time.

In a detailed YouTube video, Flaa stated that she was shocked and appalled after reading Lively’s complaint and that it was just a coincidence that she ended up posting her old interview with the actress when the alleged smear campaign was running.

I posted the video after I had seen the movie. … I didn’t like it. I had a bad experience with Blake Lively, and at that time I was like, ‘I’ve kind of had enough of Hollywood,’ so I wasn’t that afraid of being canceled anymore, so I decided to post the video.

Meanwhile, Lively has yet to make a public statement about everything going on. While It Ends with Us author Colleen Hoover recently voiced support for the actress (via NZ Herald), Baldoni’s legal reps have denied the complaint calling it full of ‘falls accusations’ (via Variety).

It Ends with Us is available to be streamed on Netflix.
