Before things get better for Henry, however, they have to get worse. After setting off for Trosky castle with Hans Capon, things quickly go wrong, and he finds himself without clothes, weapons, or money. Henry also loses his trusty horse, Pebbles, at the start of the game, and you should try to bring the two back together as soon as possible.

Henry and Hans barely survive the bandit attack but get back on their feet thanks to a Herbwoman living in the forest. They quickly find themselves in trouble again and end up in the Troskowitz stocks; then, you can get started in the main game. The first NPC Henry sees is Bara, who tells him that the nearest Groom is in Semine, southwest of Troskowitz.
How To Get The Horse For Free
Henry Doesn’t Have To Pay To Get Pebbles Back

Now Henry has found pebbles; he needs to get them back. Talk to Groom Ballatay and select the dialogue option “Pebbles!“ Henry will then have two options to get Pebbles back for free. Henry only needs to have level 7 Speech to pass these, but if he fails, he can pay 150 Groschen (or barter for less) to get Pebbles back.
Henry will get stronger and faster horses throughout Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s story, so don’t rush to replace pebbles.
If you haven’t leveled up Henry’s speech enough, you can improve your chances of succeeding in the skill check by improving Hnery’s appearance. If Henry could get his hands on some nice clothing or shiny armor from a merchant or via combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Ballatay would be more likely to believe him and hand over pebbles for free.
