Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 might be perfect it a lot of ways, but is has some flaws and players are abusing them for their benefit.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has a challenging gameplay that is often compared to the likes of Soulsborne games. For instance, players have to level up character stats that scale with their weapons, parry, or dodge enemy attacks. Moreover, the Lumina system lets players add bonuses to the characters that buff them passively.
The passive buff allows for limited upgrades because of Lumina Points limits. However, that can be upgraded with Color of Lumina, which can be found spread all across the world. However, there is a way to cheese a lot of it, thanks to a glitch that Sandfall hasn’t fixed yet.
For those who come after, here’s a tip that will help you

If you’re exploring Old Lumiere in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you’ll find an optional boss named Chromatic Danseuse. This is the boss you’ll be milking to get a plethora of Luminas. However, keep in mind, using this glitch might dip your FPS to the bottom of the ocean. Also, make sure you’re good with dodges and parries, as it isn’t an easy boss.
How does the glitch work, then? Whenever Chromatic Danseuse is alone, she spawns two other clones at the beginning of any part member’s turn. So all players gotta do is kill the clones and skip their turn. Causing the boss to repeatedly spawn in clones for players to kill. But why not kill the boss right away?
Killing each clone gives around five Colors of Lumina, so with every turn, you can get ten of them. But, the amount can be cheesed with Verso. There’s a glitch with Verso’s Contorso weapon, which doubles enemy drops. Thus, exponentially increasing the yield you can get from the boss.
But again, this glitch has a high-risk, high-reward factor. The boss is quite hard, and many have faced challenges. If you wish to make use of the glitch, you have to be incredibly skilled and know the attack patterns to the heart. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will test your skills, even though it has minor glitches, so good luck.
But again, do you really need to make use of the glitch to beat the game? If you become very overpowered, you’re bound to lose interest. The idea of one-shotting bosses can be interesting, for in the long run, it will turn sour. But again, you want to feel like Superman in the game, go ahead, no one will stop you.
Where exactly is Chromatic Danseuse in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?
⛶
Players can find Chromatic Danseuse as an optional boss only after beating the main boss of Act 2 in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. After beating them, they’ll have to return to the first Rest Point flag in Old Lumiere. Once reaching the place, they have to go down the straight path until it splits, the part where Monoco destroys a building.
On the right-hand side, players can find a new road and follow it down the path. While doing so, they’ll come across a Rest Point, called Train Station Ruins, graced by the Expedition 42. If players move a bit further along the path, they’ll get to face the Chromatic Danseuse.
As mentioned before, the optional boss is difficult as it switches stances, just like Maelle does. If players aren’t mindful of those, the attacks might be weak against them. Dying would be a natural outcome for the fight initially, but that’s the point of playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Git gud.
