We’re almost halfway through 2025 already, and I bet, after six months filled with blockbusters and surprise hits, there are already a few games you’ve left by the wayside, either because you didn’t have time or because, well, playing all the games you want can get pretty expensive. Well, what if there was a way that you could play some of 2025’s biggest games for $1 each?

There is, kind of, thanks to Fanatical’s Summer Mystery Bundle. Fanatical is a site that specializes in bundling together video games and selling them for less than you’ll find them anywhere else. It’s the site responsible for the Star Wars bundle that gets you more than $100 of games, including Knights of the Old Republic and Battlefront 2, for less than $20.

Its Mystery Bundle is a little different since, as the name suggests, you don’t know what you’re going to get. The bundle has three price options, returning a different number of mystery keys depending on which one you buy. $1 gets you one key, $4.79 gets you five keys, and if you spend $7.49, you’ll get ten keys. In that instance, you’re technically paying less than a dollar for each game, so you could end up with a copy of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for as little as 75 cents.

That’s right, one of your mystery keys could unlock Clair Obscur, Sandfall’s surprise mega hit that will almost certainly be shortlisted for 2025’s Game of the Year. There are some caveats beyond the obvious you don’t know what game you’re getting until you’ve used the key, but honestly, they’re all benefits to you. Perhaps most important of all is what games you might end up with. There’s no definitive list beyond the top picks mentioned above, but only games that have a very positive average rating or higher on Steam are eligible for selection. Don’t worry, you’re not going to end up with a stinker.

There’s also no chance you’ll end up with a game you already own, provided you go through this process carefully. For starters, you’ll want to make sure your Fanatical and Steam accounts are linked. That will ensure your keys don’t unlock games you already own. Secondly, while you can buy as many bundles as you like, it’s recommended that you use all the keys in a bundle before you buy another one. That way, there’s no risk of ending up with duplicates. If you were to buy two bundles at the same time and then start unlocking the games, for example, you might end up with two copies of the same game, one in each bundle.
