Since Jason Momoa was cast as Lobo in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, there has been speculation on recasting DCEU stars in the DCU. However, the larger DC canon is even bigger than that universe, including performers playing iconic roles in series like Superman & Lois and even the animated Harley Quinn. One actor who has both played Superman and has starred in a totally different live-action superhero show would be best suited to fit in with the new universe.
Jack Quaid Has Been My Adventures With Superman’s Clark Kent Casting Since 2023
The Animated Series Boasts An Excellent Voice Performance For Its Lead Character

My Adventures with Superman is one of the most charming iterations of the Man of Steel yet seen, and much of that has to do with Jack Quaid lending his voice to the lead role. With super saiyan transformations for Superman and Supergirl, and a story that puts the character dynamics first, the show has gone on to be celebrated for its depiction of Superman and his stories. Many even hope that the DCU will pull influence from the animated show and its hopeful and colorful style.
Jack Quaid’s Acting History Shows He’s Just As Good As A Villain
Quaid Has Great Range In His Performances

Jack Quaid has appeared in several other superhero projects, and some of these show that the actor has great capacity to play a villain. Quaid provided the voice for Alberto Falcone in Batman: The Long Halloween Part 1, and even appeared as an alternate-universe Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. His Peter actually wound up turning into the Lizard in a dark twist that speaks to Quaid’s abilities as a performer. Following this, the actor would be great as a DCU villain.
Concept art has seen Jack Quaid as The Flash, but the actor has far more range than this casting would suggest. While Quaid would be an excellent Barry Allen, he would also be great in so many different villainous roles in the universe. Quaid could easily play Reverse-Flash, Joker, Brainiac, Scarecrow, Metallo, or countless other lesser-known DC villain roles that could pop up in the new universe. If used correctly, Quaid could be an enormous asset to the new universe.
I’m Convinced Jack Quaid Would Be A Perfect DC Universe Casting
The Actor Has Talent And Experience In A Superhero Universe

Jack Quaid has proven himself to be a strong performer with charisma and range, but he also has the experience of being involved in long-running superhero properties. Between The Boys and My Adventures with Superman, Quaid has demonstrated a willingness to commit to these projects for extended runs. This speaks to how good a fit he would be in the new DCU. There are all kinds of roles the actor would be perfect for, and the new universe would do itself a disservice if they didn’t at least keep him in consideration.
Jack Quaid is a rising star in Hollywood, and he has proven himself to be a charismatic and compelling presence in every project he attaches himself to. With The Boys coming to an end, the actor is set to have more time available in the near future that could be well-used in the new DC Universe. There are so many roles that the actor would be impeccably suited for, and I hope to see him continue in superhero media for many more years to come.
