Joining the list of people rejoicing at Snow White’s failure, Andrew Tate targets Rachel Zegler with distasteful posts on his X account.

Rachel Zegler’s dreams of becoming a successful Disney princess seem to be waning every day since Snow White’s release. Although the initial screenings gave hope of the movie defying box office predictions and becoming a breakout hit, the opening weekend sent that dream down the drain.

It’s hard to say whether the constant controversies the movie has been shrouded in from the start played a part in its lackluster performance in the theaters. Whatever the case, it doesn’t seem likely that the movie will do a proper turnaround any time soon.

Interestingly, Snow White‘s failure to draw in audiences has renewed the zeal of many people who were hoping for its downfall for various reasons. Andrew Tate, too, seems to have joined the list of such people recently.

Rachel Zegler’s Snow White had everyone tuning in to find out its box office performance on opening weekend. While it did defy the pre-release projections, it happened in the most unfortunate way. That is, the movie actually earned less than what the critics projected its opening weekend turnaround to be.

Ever since, many trolls have come forward to state their opinion on the matter especially the actress with renewed fervor. Fans are aware that Zegler had to battle many racist remarks ever since she was announced to be the new face of Snow White a few years ago.

Although the intensity of said remarks has lessened over time, the failure of Rachel Zegler’s movie to lure audiences to the theaters has added to their zeal.

One such critic happens to be none other than Andrew Tate. Although his remarks weren’t particularly racist in nature, they did carry a blatant reflection of his unhinged ideologies all the same.

Even weirder was his attempt at humor where he stated on his X account, “Rachel Zegler made me a sandwich once”. However, possibly the most saddening part of it all was the number of people who joined him on his mocking for no apparent reason. To be fair, the likelihood of Tate ever watching the movie seems quite slim in chance.

As such, it makes one wonder what exactly made him target Zegler out of the blue. It could be that along with the racists and misogynists who were praying for her downfall, he couldn’t let the chance pass by to poke at a woman who was already facing a significant career disappointment.

Even though neither Zegler nor the movie concerned him in any particular way. Regardless, his opinions on certain subjects, especially the ones on women are not exactly a surprise to people. The number of people agreeing with him, though, paints a frightening picture all the same.

As per Deadline, Rachel Zegler’s Snow White failed to meet the box office predictions and raked in only around $43 million in domestic and $87.3 million in global box office revenue.

Now it didn’t come as a particular shock to many, especially those who were against the movie from the start. However, after the initial screenings boasted positive reviews, especially for Zegler’s performance, it painted quite a bleak picture for its future anyway.

Needless to say, Andrew Tate and his followers’ tone-deaf remarks in such a situation come across as off, to say the least. Interestingly, there were a few who called out his behavior, but the number of protestors was way too few and far between.

Fans are aware of the dedication Zegler put into her role in Snow White. To the point of learning a completely new adventure sport in two weeks just for a scene lasting a few seconds. As such, the reviews from the initial screenings surged hope in her fans.

After the opening weekend, though, that hope has waned quite a bit. It’ll be interesting to see if Snow White can turn around its box-office performance in the coming weeks. Unfortunately, the chance of that happening seems smaller than ever.
